January 2nd Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

After 2 a.m., Lawrence Police conducted more than five vehicle stops. Most stops sounded to be related to enforcing traffic laws, while others sounded like possibly suspicious vehicle stops.

Shortly after 3 a.m., Police were called to investigate what a caller believed to be a “drug deal” in progress in the 600 block of Massachusetts Street. Officers responded to the area and were unable to locate any such activity.

Police also responded on one disturbance and three medical emergencies with LDCFM.
