January 16th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

A fairly normal early Monday morning for Law Enforcement in Douglas County.

KU Police seemed to be investigating some political graffiti after 2 a.m. this morning. There was talk of spray paint and a political candidate’s name. Very few details were available at the time. I am sure there will be more of this from the Lawrence Journal-World should there be any details worthy of reporting.

Police in Lawrence made an arrest related to a criminal damage to property in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Street that occurred at 2:24 a.m..

Officers also conducted a few vehicle stops and responded with LDCFM on four medical emergencies.
