January 10th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap

At 12:31 a.m. Lawrence Police were called out on a Strong Armed Robbery, meaning the suspect used physical force instead of a weapon. Very few details were given over the radio. LPD’s call log shows nine units committed to the call. No injuries were reported. More information on the call can be found here from the Lawrence Journal-World.

At 12:54 a.m. Police were called to the 400 block of Nebraska to investigate a report of gunshots heard in the area. It was unclear if anyone was located in connection to the shots. No injuries were reported.

The rest of the morning was fairly routine for Police. A few medical emergencies, false alarms and one disturbance. No serious injuries were reported with any of this morning’s activity.
