This morning was fairly quiet for the most part in Douglas County.

Police conducted numerous vehicle stops around town.

Activity picked up around 4:20 a.m., after a report of a Burglary in the 1800 block of Illinois Street and then again around 5:30 a.m., when another burglary was reported in the 900 block of Maine Street. On the Maine Street incident, Police reported “pry bar marks” on a backdoor. The suspect was unable to make entry into the address and the resident called Police. There was no description of the suspect in either incident.

None of this morning’s activity was said to have involved any serious injuries.
