August 28th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police were called to a reported injury accident involving a pedestrian in the 1600 block of Massachusetts Street at 2:02 a.m.. Officers arrived quickly and reported the person had minor injuries. That person refused any treatment from Fire/Medical. The accident was initially dispatched as a hit and run, however no information regarding a suspect vehicle was released.

Officers were called to handle only one disturbance this morning. No injuries were reported.

Police also conducted three vehicle stops, cited several parking violations, and responded on one trespassing complaint.
