October 19th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

It is starting to sound like a broken record but, again quiet in Douglas County this morning.

Police issued just one report number after midnight. That was related to a vehicle stop about 20 minutes after midnight in the 1300 block of Ohio.

Lawrence Police responded on one noise complaint in the 1000 block of Indiana Street, shortly after midnight. That was the one and only noise complaint this morning. Officers responded a burglary alarm, conducted several address checks, a motorist assist and a very few vehicle stops.

None of the overnight activity resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of weapons.

The week long (weather permitting) construction project, near the roundabout at Harvard and Monterey Way continues today. Learn more about this project here.
