Fairly quiet in Douglas County this morning.

Police in Lawrence conducted a number of vehicle stops and caught up with a vehicle reported to be an erratic driver. Police also investigated a shoplifting at the Hy-Vee store on W 6th Street. The suspect was reported to be “stuffing his pants” with groceries and acting suspicious.

None of the overnight activity, that I heard, involved the use of weapons or resulted in any serious injuries.
