Not an overly busy night for Police in Lawrence last night but it was more active then most Tuesday mornings.

Not many details were given over the radios but, Lawrence received information regarding two separate sex crimes. Both were at different addresses and were dispatched about ten minutes apart. Due to the lack of details that I have available and not knowing what these cases deal with, I am not sharing even an approximate address.

Lawrence Police also received information regarding what the caller believed to be illegal drug activity that was witnessed in the 2300 block of Ousdahl Road. Sounded like both of the involved subject had left the area prior to the witness even calling Police.

Just before 1 a.m. Lawrence Police stopped a suspected DUI driver. That driver was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody.

The rest of the morning was the normal calls for service including disturbances, building checks and car stops.
