Another quiet night throughout Douglas County. Pretty good for a Friday night even with KU out for the summer. Most of the overnight Police activity consisted of a few noise complaints, some minor disturbances, car stops and an animal complaint or two.

None of the overnight activity in the county involved the use of weapons or any serious injuries. Hopefully another safe and quiet night in Lawrence again later tonight.
