July 22nd Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Back to another pretty quiet overnight in Douglas County after the Thursday morning armed robbery. The suspect from that robbery remains at large. He is described as a black man, standing 5′ 6″, weighing 150lbs. At the time of the robbery he was wearing all black clothing and had a white shirt covering his face. He was armed with a black handgun.

As for last night, Police did not have a whole lot of activity to respond on outside of the fairly routine. Several noise complaints, disturbances and car stops.

LDCFM responded on, what seemed like quite a few medical related calls overnight. None of the activity, that I heard, involved any serious injuries.

Again, the activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
