July 15th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Another pretty quiet night in Douglas County last night. For about the first time in more then two weeks, Lawrence Police were not called to any fireworks complaints.

Two more non injury accidents for LPD. The first about 9:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of 4th Street. The second at 5:15 a.m. this morning in the 800 block of Monterey Way.

Lawrence Police also received information on a drugs complaint in the 2000 block of west 27th Street around 1:30 a.m.

For the most part it was the usual noise complaints, car stops and a few disturbances.

Was not something that I was listening during but, Lawrence Police are looking for information following an armed robbery at Central National Bank, 603 W. Ninth Street on Thursday afternoon. LJWorld Story for more information.

Again, the activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on.
