December 22nd Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Police in Lawrence had another fairly quiet early morning on their hands.

Officers conducted five vehicle stops, four building checks, cited three parking violations, responded on two disturbances and on one medical emergency with LDCFM.

KTA received information on a car vs deer accident near the Lecompton interchange just before 4 a.m. this morning. Douglas County Deputies took a similar report just outside of Lawrence on K-10. No serious injuries were reported in either accident.

At 10:30 p.m., Wednesday night, Overland Park Police announced that they had made contact with missing 19-year-old, Aisha Khan and that she was safe. More information on this case can be found here by Operation 100 news or here from the Journal-World and Associated Press
