December 14th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

A very quite morning in Douglas County.

Officers in Lawrence responded on just one burglary alarm, checked an area for a reckless driver and responded with LDCFM on a medical related emergency.

KU Public Safety found a damaged barricade early this morning at the Park & Ride lot. A vehicle struck the barricade hard enough to leave behind pieces of the car. Enough pieces were found for officers to identify it as a Volkswagen. The collision is believed to have occurred sometime after 2 a.m.. Officers discovered the damage shortly after 4 a.m..

None of this mornings activity resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of any weapons.
