August 8th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Sunday nights are normally pretty quiet. Last night was no exception to that.

Just after 10:15 p.m. Police took a report of a vicious dog in the 5000 block of Clinton Parkway. Sounded like the Officer was able to get the dog under control. It was not clear if the dog was taken to the Humane Society or returned to an owner.

Police also responded on a non injury accident just after 11 p.m. in the 700 block of east 11th Street.

The rest of the night was fairly routine activity for any night in Lawrence. Noise complaints, vehicle stops, a few disturbances and burglary alarms.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
