“Tis sad Marion. (Is that really you singing?)
Marx, Trotsky, Mao and Mussolini actually would be in awe of and envious of Obama, Pelosi and Reid's social re-engineering I do believe. Just one small element, the afore mentioned fascists, dictators and tyrants didn't have a gov't website to bully and trash and intimidate their opponents.
Again, sad–so sad. This is what we're down to. Wow! Oh well, according to early polling, things do not look to peachy for Dems next year, and of course, that will further damage The Anointed One's last two years he'll serve.

“What is wrong with our once Great Nation is that we have lost our sense of Nationalism.”
I'm not so sure that nationalism is a good thing. It seems that it leads to arguments for giving up personal rights in favor of supporting the Nation's interests over our individual ones.

Liberty - To me nationalism means:
The American auto industry
Immigration Reform. I don't care if you come here, just leave your name at the door
“Hello, this is customer support” with someone who can communicate with you
Clothing made in USA. Does anyone remember Miss Thursday (Page 1-C) several weeks ago? Clothing items she bought while visiting India cost about a quarter or fifty cents each. Markup?
Big business operates on the margin. does saving 2-3% mean more than employing Americans?
9th circuit court of appeals: reason enough to pray for the big one (I tease)
And I will defend Glenn Beck and Ed Shultz from here to eternity. Don't agree with either of them all the time, but they have the right to be as asinine and shrill and overdramatic as they want . Let the democracy of the marketplace determine which one is closest to the pulse of this great democratic republic.

“OSLO (Reuters) - Most members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee initially argued against awarding the 2009 Peace Prize to President Barack Obama before agreeing to the choice, Norway's top-selling daily Verdens Gang (VG) said on Thursday.
The paper said three of five members had objections during the early phases of the process, but were persuaded in favor of Obama mainly by the chairman of the committee, former Prime Minister Thorbjoern Jagland.”

When there could have been a choice between using the word nationalism or patriotism for this blog, why would I think that Marion would use anything but nationalism. Of course except for baiting the only real reason is slipping in his usual agenda. Otherwise there would have been no reason for the title or the use of that particular video.
Once again Marion, not only are you wrong, you are doing it wrong.

fishcat, that's fine if that's your definition, but how do you achieve your desired outcomes? If you do so by advocating that people change their personal behavior that's fine. But you can guess how effective that will be. If you do so by using the power of the government to compel people to buy American then you are taking away individual rights for national goals.
It's interesting to note that your definition includes a focus on employers' preference for outsourcing instead of consumers' preference for outsourced products.

Marion you really don't know what real life Communism is. Why don't you go spend 15 years in a “re-education camp” in Serbia like my father did. Have all your family land and fortunes striped from you while you enjoy losing all your teeth and hair from malnutrition while assembling tank batteries for the great people's republic of “insert word here”. Then when you finally escape and gain asylum in the US, as a dirt poor and broken man, you'll have to deal with how the average spoiled fat American judges you for your disfigurement, thinking your some meth addict and not realizing you were an abused political prisoner. Your comparing apples to a cesspool in this blog.

I was touched by beerguy's comment. I have met several survivors of political imprisonment before, my first in 1968 when I met a man who escaped Czechoslovakia. He bore an abdominal scar where he had been bayoneted and left for dead. And again in the early '90's when I worked with a man who escaped Romania in the early 70's and lost his brother, attempting to escape with him, to the border guards. Marion really doesn't have a clue.
I'm tempted to be kind to him because of his cluelessness but there really isn't an excuse for the ignorance and I find much of what he says insulting to these people.

What's comedic is that Marion doesn't believe this for a second but rather enjoys immensely the display of ignorance of the average fellow who knows nothing of communism, the USSR, Obama, U.S. history, or much else.
Unfortunately, this joke is deeply offensive to those who have suffered and died under Soviet rule and their families. LJW! - have you no shame? Would you be so callous if the subject was the other 20th century grotesque, the Holocaust? You deserve to get a daily delivery of photographs of the dead with a written letter explaining their person tragedy, wishing to you and yours the same fate until you pull this obscenity from your site.
