Islam And The LJW…………………….
...or your blog will be removed.
You can bash Christianity to your heart's content, you can talk about Judaism, you can knock the eyes of of the Moonies and you can even poke fun at the Hindus......................
...but leave Islam alone!
Get one comment, make a reply and you get this:
Sent to Jonathan Kealing, LJW online Editor:
"I see the LJW is just as frightened of Islam as is the rest of the Western press!
There was NOTHING in that blog that was "racist", discriminatory or which in any way deprecated Islam, unless you call its own words deprecating.
This was, I admit, sort of a test and the entire blog was indeed saved, to be posted elsewhere along with a few words on the side about its removal.
I am ashamed of you but not surprised."

One of the things I find most interesting about folks like headdoctor and Katara is that as far as the USA is concerned, they are *ALL* about “separation of church and state” while screaming bloody murder and rising to high old umbrage when the evils of Islam are brought to attention; ignoring the fact that in virutally every nation which espouses Islam, the religion; Muslim, *IS* the law!

“Video from al Qaeda's No. 2 slams Obama, threatens attacks
Ayman al-Zawahiri uses message to eulogize accused terrorist Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi
He refers to al-Libi as “veteran fighter” against attacks of those working for the West
Al-Zawahiri's video was filled with threats similar to those in past messages
(CNN) — Al Qaeda's second-in-command slams the “smiling Obama” and threatens attacks in the latest video posted on radical Islamist Web sites.
Ayman al-Zawahiri uses the message to eulogize Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi, an accused terrorist who said he was tortured into making a false connection between al Qaeda and Iraq. Human rights monitors said in May that he had died.
“Obama claims to respect human rights and condemn torture, and here I will not ask him about the expansion of the Bagram prison, and will not ask how he forgave the crimes of the CIA executioners. I will not ask him about his decision not to release the detainee abuse photos and will not ask him about the program to hand over detainees to other countries to be tortured, and will not ask him about the assassination teams that are deployed to assassinate anyone who is suspected to be an extremist,” al-Zawahiri says in the message.
He refers to al-Libi as “a veteran fighter in repelling the attacks of the hypocrite agents who were working for the crusaders against the mujahedeens.”
Islamic radicals use the term “crusaders” to refer to Christians and the West.
Al-Zawahiri's message was filled with threats similar to those seen in past messages. “It will be about your blood and the draining of your economy until you stop your crimes, you arrogant tyrants,” he says, according to a CNN translation.
Octavia Nasr, CNN's senior editor for Middle East affairs, said, “This falls within al Qaeda's propaganda and its continued attempts to keep itself relevant. In a climate where al Qaeda's effectiveness and capability to carry out attacks are being questioned, the organization continues to pump propaganda videos where al Qaeda leaders take turns eulogizing members killed in attacks or in jail.”

From everything I can tell about blogging, or even commenting on the LJWorld site, is that it isn't mandatory. If you don't like their rules, go play somewhere else — it really is that simple.
Of course, the LJWorld deserves all these ranting blogs coming its way for not having stepped up and disreappeardeded the most removed commenter around. Anyone else still around who has had nearly a dozen comments in a row removed? Any other bloggers who routinely have multiple posts removed on their own blogs? Combine this pattern of removed posts with a history of race-baiting blogs, outright racist comments, declarations of friendship with a well-known Holocaust denier, and you find that it really is the LJWorld at fault here. They have the opportunity to do something about this, and they don't. It is like blaming the child for burning its hand when the parent is standing right there and didn't do what was necessary to prevent the accident in the first place.
Can any of this really be considered a surprise?

Santini, I'm not trying to censor anyone. I don't have that ability. My well reasoned argument is that if the LJWorld wishes to continue to promote civil discourse then they should consider the number of uncivil posts removed by one individual. However, it isn't up to me to censor anyone.
While the quoted post is just one incident, there is a long history to which it is part. Further, consider its meaning in relation to this blog.
However, I ask you, what is meant by “White culture”?
Certainly White Supremists — the type Marion's friend David Irving the Holocaust denier is linked with — would be interested in conserving “White culture.” The problem is is that it doesn't exist. There is no such thing as “White culture.” There is no unifying aspect of culture that links White people the world over. This is why the Amish in Pennsylvania really aren't just like Catholics in Northern Ireland or like the lifeguards of Australia. Instead, you find various cultures around the world that are made up of predominantly White people, but there is no such thing as “White culture.” That is a term started by White Supremists and used by hate-mongers like Glenn Beck.
Feel free to over look racism when it presents itself if you wish. That isn't my choice. If you care to offer a reasoned argument on why I should overlook racism, feel free to present it.

I really do not know why he is complaining anyway. He is one of the biggest violators of the TOS and doesn't get banned like others have. Which in my way of thinking makes other posters not really care what they post. It is very obvious that the rules are not applied fairly when it comes to Marion. It is their forum to do as they see fit but at this point I feel like some of the banned posters should be reinstated with an apology based on what Marion gets away with. areunormal: “Jonas, weren't those Arab accomplishments and not so much Muslim? I mean, Arabs have been around longer than Islam, right?”
The Crusades occurred multiple centuries after Mohammad, and were directed primarily against the Muslims in the holy land. As for the social achievements, as I understand it they are generally grouped under the name Islamic Golden Age or Islamic Rennaissance. If you want to move past there to specifics I imagine you could find many examples where the people making those discoveries were not overly religious, same as with the Western Rennaissance and Christianity, but something tells me that would be moving past Santini's original intent anyway. For all intents and purposes, though, when Roman civilization fell into the dark ages with the collapse of Rome it was the Islamic world that picked up the pieces and moved forwards, while the Western World did such fabulous things as collapse into superstition and fuedalism and die of plague. You might say it was somewhat comparable to the Middle East of today, except no rich people wanted to do business with them for their oil or other resources, since they had very little.

Why is the Feminist Friendly US Media silent about Honor Killings Here?
an american 'honor killing'
By john p. avlon
July 23, 2008 —
ON July 6, police say, a Pakistani named Chaudhry Rashid strangled his 25-year-old daughter San- deela Kanwal with a Bungee cord in her bedroom because she wanted to end her arranged marriage. This “honor killing” came not in Pakistan, but in Jonesboro, Ga. - a suburb 16 miles outside Atlanta.
At his arraignment, Rashid said through an Urdu interpreter that he was “not in the state of mind to talk because of the death of his daughter,” but stated “I have done nothing wrong.”
This is not the same as declaring innocence. His attorney, Tammy Long, explained, “My client is going through a difficult time. As you can imagine, he is distraught.” Apparently, it takes a stronger man to murder his daughter without sentiment.
The national media has paid little attention to the story of Kanwal's murder, though most outlets found plenty of time to debate the cover of The New Yorker.
When a blonde girl goes missing, cable networks stop in their tracks - but when a Muslim woman is murdered by her father, there's not a ripple of sustained interest. Where's the outrage?
Maybe it's muted because we've grown reluctant to pass judgment on other culture's customs - but multiculturalism hits a crossroads when honor killings come to America.
The United Nations estimates that the world sees 5,000 honor killings a year - overwhelmingly in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa, but increasingly among Muslim immigrant communities in Europe.
The United States has avoided this bloodstained trend until recently. Some consider Kanwal's death the first documented honor killing here. Others point to the murder of sisters Amina and Sarah Said in Irving, Texas, on New Years' 2007. (Their MySpace page remains up. Featuring assimilated teen culture and American music, it is haunting.) Their father remains on the run from police.
Few doubt that other honor killings have occurred behind closed doors. In upstate Monroe County just a few days ago, a girl was stabbed by her brother for wearing immodest western clothing and wanting to move to New York City. According to court documents, Waheed Allah Mohammad explained the stabbing by saying his sister was a “bad Muslim girl.”
“Honor killing is a misnomer,” author and exile Ayaan Hirsi Ali told me. “The killing occurs because these girls have allegedly brought shame on their family. The paradox is that these are individuals who have emancipated themselves.

“These girls embody the American dream. They want to become self-reliant - deciding who they marry, when they marry and how many children they will have.”
On the surface, this sounds like a classic case for the left - outrages well worth protesting. Honor killings and other tribal customs like female genital mutilation represent a far greater threat to human rights than comparatively benign examples of Western sexism, like unrealistic measurements on a Barbie doll.
But this would require recognizing that the greatest danger to civil liberties in the world today comes not from the United States, but from a medieval tribalism that's still murdering people around the world under the guise of enforcing piousness.
“America is an assimilating nation,” affirms Ayaan, “and so when immigrant Muslim men assimilate into American society they are applauded for it. But when some immigrant Muslim women assimilate into American society, they find themselves ostracized - beaten and even killed by their own families. And the American public ignores their plight to protect the immigrant Muslim community from stigma.”
There should be wall-to-wall coverage when Rashid's pretrail hearings begin tomorrow in Atlanta. By any standards, this is a sensational crime.
Instead, the trial may well get dismissed as old news or swept under the rug as just another domestic-violence case. These rationalizations cover up a discomfort with wading into cultural judgment - and a desire to avoid the risk of violence that always comes with criticizing radical Islam.
There's a cost to such squeamishness. In England, Lord Chief Justice Phillips, the country's top judge, has said that sharia law should be incorporated into British law, while the Archbishop of Canterbury described such incorporation as “inevitable.”
This slippery slope threatens to undermine liberal democracy and even the concept of civilized norms. America must make a stand, because many Europeans either can't or won't.
As Ayaan says: “As an immigrant Muslim woman running for your life, from your own family, I think America is a better place for us, because we know that Americans are individualist enough that they will ultimately chose to protect us - while Europeans choose to stick their heads in the sand and pretend nothing is going on.”
Our ultimate victory in the War on Terror will be to encourage a Muslim reformation by offering examples of successful Muslim-American citizens - especially women - who thrive within the equal rights and open opportunities of American society. For Muslim women who want to live in freedom, America is the last best hope on earth - and we must remain nothing less.

The behavior of Six Flags amusement parks in appeasing extremist Muslims allied with terrorists is yet another example of why I tell my fellow Americans and Westerners not to rely on the Jewish community for the kosher seal of approval on what is and isn’t acceptable in the war on terror.
Six Flags, owned by Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder and run by Mark Shapiro–both Jews, is kowtowing to Muslims by hosting a special day for them … and asking workers not to wear shorts. No shorts at an amusement park when it’s still summer-like weather?”
“This is Magic Mountain’s first year hosting Muslim Family day. It is far from its first time hosting a religious event, said park spokeswoman Sue Carpenter.
“I think it’s great as long as they open it up to everyone,” said Jones, whose friend works at the park.
Jones is concerned the park’s supervisors asked the employees to wear pants Saturday to cover their legs despite the unusually high heat. “I think its kind of strange,” Jones said. “It’s been so hot for pants.”
But Carpenter said not to worry.
“Out of respect, we request the employees wear their uniform pants, instead of their shorts,” Carpenter said. “It is only a request, it is not mandatory.”
The Islamic Circle of North America requested the day as a celebration for end of Ramadan. Muslim Family Day comes just five days after the end of Ramadan, a Muslim religious observance in which participating Muslims fast from dawn until sunset.
Park officials will try to meet the Muslim group’s needs as it does with any other group, Carpenter said.
“There will be a plethora of things to do for the youth and the entire family including halal food stalls, ethnic bazaar and family entertainment” the event’s Web site states.
The group is hosting Muslim Family and Youth Days in seven other United States cities this fall.
Shorts, today, non-Halal hot dogs, tomorrow. And the next day, the garb of non-Muslim female patrons to the amusement park.
The Islamic Circle of North America openly supports HAMAS and Hezbollah and refuses to condemn them. It has been under investigation for fundraising for and money laundering to Islamic terrorist groups.
Not sure why any amusement park would ask it’s employees to do anything for ICNA “out of respect”. The group deserves none.
This is America. When will we decide to take it back?
If you live in the Washington, DC area, it might be a good idea to let your neighbor, Daniel Snyder, know what you think about this. And think twice about pouring money into his Redskins.
Six Flags calls itself “Six Flags Great America.” But what it’s doing is neither great nor American.”

“Western Media Stooges of Islamist Propaganda: The Case of al-Dura
by Laina Farhat-Holzman
27 Jun, 2008
http://www.islam-watch.org/Laina/Medi…
Our founding fathers regarded a press free from government interference as an essential institution for the protection of democracy. The press was to inform voters through a diversity of viewpoints and to prevent the abuse of power that thrives in the absence of scrutiny.
In the real world, however, media often serves as a mouthpiece of the government in power or a distraction of scandal and gossip as we often find in the American and European popular tabloids.
In some dictatorships there is only one view permitted, the dictator's and foreign journalists are not permitted. In Burma and North Korea, we have seen in the necessity to clandestinely cover Burma's flood-storm disaster or North Korea's recurring starvation.
But in sophisticated dictatorships (Soviet Union and Saddam Hussein's Iraq), foreign journalists were permitted but were under constraint. Uncooperative journalists were expelled. Journalists couldn't cover the country at all if they were expelled, so they had to wait until the end of their tour of duty to tell the truth.
One area of the world that needs to be covered honestly is the Arab Middle East - an area that plays a major role in American foreign policy. Israel has a rambunctiously free press, but the Arab world, particularly the Palestinian Territories and Gaza, is a different case. Local journalists foolish enough to expose graft or corruption will not live long. Foreign journalists must be pro-Palestinian or they are expelled. And some foreign journalists let themselves be used for political propaganda.

Perhaps you will remember one searing image that came out of Gaza: the image of Mohammed Al-Dura, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, crouching in terror behind his father as Israeli bullets flew and ultimately killed the child and wounded the father. The Palestinian media turned it into a major propaganda piece to convince the Muslim world - and Europe - that Israeli soldiers deliberately shot a child in a 45-minute hail of machine gun fire. This image has permeated the psyches of Muslims everywhere, resulting in streets named for the “martyr” and postage stamps commemorating this horror for eternity.
The photo image and story came from a Palestinian journalist and was broadcast by a French journalist working for one of the official French TV networks. CNN saw the photos and rejected them as dubious - but later covered the issue after the “respectable” French Network showed them. They assumed that due diligence validated the photos.
Philippe Karsenty, a French journalist and media critic, has taken a different show on the road. On May 13th, at UC Santa Cruz, a consortium of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, Stand With Us, and Leviathan, sponsored his talk. We saw footage before and after the “incident” and some very damning evidence that the entire al-Dura incident was staged. The footage shown on French (and world) TV was edited; we saw original footage. The testimony of the Palestinian and French journalists were very inconsistent. They claimed that the Israelis fired for 45 minutes against a wall, intending to kill the father and the boy he was protecting. However, the film showed no firing coming from the Israeli barracks at all; it also showed only seven small round bullet holes in the wall - and not a drop of blood - quite impossible after 45 minutes of firing that would have dismantled the wall as well the father and son.
A dead child's body was photographed in the morgue, but this child did not look like what we could see of al-Dura. Furthermore, the death of the child, his identification in the morgue, and the funeral, complete with printed posters, all took place an hour or two after the shooting. That efficiency should be bottled and sold. Karsenty, who was sued by French TV 2, has now won his case in court, validating his accusations of fraudulent journalism.
The supposedly wounded father was shown with very old scars, not new bullet wounds - and apparently when investigated were found to be from a previous brush with Palestinian factions. The entire filming was so blatantly fraudulent that it is embarrassing to see. The horror is the damage this piece of theater has done.
Buyer beware. This is not journalism.”

“Military burns unsolicited Bibles sent to Afghanistan
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asi…
Unsolicited Bibles sent by U.S. church were confiscated about a year ago
The Bibles were printed in two most common Afghan languages
Military feared they could be used for proselytizing, which is forbidden to troops
Military personnel threw away, and ultimately burned, confiscated Bibles that were printed in the two most common Afghan languages amid concern they would be used to try to convert Afghans, a Defense Dept. spokesman said Tuesday.
The unsolicited Bibles sent by a church in the United States were confiscated about a year ago at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan because military rules forbid troops of any religion from proselytizing while deployed there, Lt. Col. Mark Wright said.
Such religious outreach can endanger American troops and civilians in the devoutly Muslim nation, Wright said.
“The decision was made that it was a 'force protection' measure to throw them away, because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims,” Wright told CNN Tuesday.
Troops at posts in war zones are required to burn their trash, Wright said.
The Bibles were written in the languages Pashto and Dari.
This decision came to light recently, after the Al Jazeera English network aired video of a group prayer service and chapel sermon that a reporter said suggested U.S. troops were being encouraged to spread Christianity.
The military denied that earlier this month, saying much in the video was taken out of context.
“This was irresponsible and dangerous journalism sensationalizing year-old footage of a religious service for U.S. soldiers on a U.S. base and inferring that troops are evangelizing to Afghans,” Col. Gregory Julian said.
The military says a soldier at Bagram received the Bibles and didn't realize he wasn't allowed to hand them out. In the Al Jazeera video, which shows the Bibles at the prayer service, an unnamed soldier says members of his church raised money for them.
The chaplain later corrected the soldier and confiscated the Bibles.
Military officers considered sending the Bibles back to the church, he said, but they worried the church would turn around and send them to another organization in Afghanistan — giving the impression that they had been distributed by the U.S. government.
That could lead to violence against troops or U.S. civilians, Wright said.
Al Jazeera English, a Qatar-based international news service, said its reporters tried to get a response from military officials for its story but were unable to do so.
The U.S. military air base at Bagram is home to thousands of troops from all branches of the U.S. military. The vast majority of the troops do not leave the base and are in various support roles for U.S. troops across Afghanistan.”
