Local AM Radio
Local AM Radio
I have listened to KLWN for around 18 years now. It seems to me that in the past couple of years, the radio has tried to push their Republican opinion on the local listeners to an extreme. This is especially true with the "Voice of Merrill" show. For weeks now, all I have heard from Merrill is the bad-mouthing of Hillary and Barack. (that's Barack, Merrill, not Baracko). I think their time would be better spent pointing out the 'good things' of their party, rather than constantly pointing our the 'bad things' of the opposition. It is clear that the station does not like Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, but please keep your opinion to yourself. I don't like people pushing their religion on me, and I also don't like people pushing their politics on me. I now immediately turn the radio to another station when Merrill comes on, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. KLWN needs to remember that the majority of Douglas county is Democrat, and it would seem to be in the station's best interest to try to please the people who support them, rather than offend them.
