Discovery Institute takes on KU undergrad

¢ A column on the intelligent design-promoting Web site of the Discovery Institute decries the blog of a Kansas University undergraduate. The group says the “Angry Astronomer” blog by John Voiseyis the result of “University of Kansas professors who model knee-jerk prejudice against proponents of intelligent design.”_Mr. Voisey is apparently a sci-fi fan, so it’s appropriate to end by observing that the wrath of the “Angry Astronomer” appears little more potent than the useless rage of “Mr. Furious” from the movie Mystery Men_.¢ Hilary Brown’s appearance on the Sundance Channel tonight is listed as a best bet for TV tonight in today’s New York Times. Brown is on the channel’s “Big Ideas for a Small Planet Show,” which airs at 8 p.m. today.
