IBM ThinkPad reported stolen
Law enforcement reportBurglaries and thefts reported ¢ An 18-year-old Lawrence woman reported an IBM ThinkPad was stolen Saturday in the 1300 block of W. 24th St. The estimated loss is $1,000. ¢ A 52-year-old Lawrence man reported a 1997 blue Saturn was damaged Tuesday in the 2400 block of Melrose Lane. The damage estimate is $1,200.Emergency calls Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported these responses: Fire calls ¢ Medical assist, 4:27 p.m. Wednesday, 110 N. Mich. ¢ Carbon monoxide detector activation due to malfunction, 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 Greenbrier Drive. ¢ Arcing, shorted electrical wiring, 6:01 p.m. Wednesday, 1520 Wakarusa Drive. ¢ System malfunction, 8:01 p.m. Wednesday, 1101 Miss. ¢ Chemical hazard, 8:23 p.m. Wednesday, 1733 W. 24th St. ¢ Police matter, 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, 200 N. Second St. ¢ Heat from short circuit, 10:06 p.m. Wednesday, 2600 Kensington Road. ¢ Alarm system activation, no fire, 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, 1424 Elmwood St.
