Isn't Phentermine is a controlled substance, hence an inside job?

Let's see, at the current price of a pack of cigarettes (including all those taxes), that means they stole what, three and a half packs or so?

Or did the police estimate the "street value" like they do with drug busts (like "Man arrested with two marijuana cigarettes with an estimated street value of $4,375,000")?

    Notajayhawk -

    Haha. Nice post.

if the cigarette thing has been going on since Nov 1, why did it take this long to discover the loss? How often do they check their stock?

IGW, welcome to the 21st century. There's no such thing as "tax free" on Indian reservations these days.

Reservations have established their own governments, and of course, levy their own taxes and excise fees anymore. The smokes may be marginally cheaper, but not worth the lengthy drive.

Yes, Marion/NickDanger/CaptainOveur claims to be a Libertarian, yet he throws his support behind Ralph Nader.

Comedy usually doesn't get this good. Hypocrite.

    BTW, I'm Cyberthug #2.

Counting cigarettes at the end of every shift is a good way to control shrinkage if the staff is the problem.

"I do not *support* Ralph Nader but will be campaigning for him."

Will you be sending out postcards again?

Hawk, as a delivery driver in Lawrence for many years, I wondered why college kids would keep valuables in their cars.

One time, one guy confessed to me that he didn't want his girlfriend going through his stuff. That's why he kept his cash in his truck.

When kids shack up in college relationships, the car is the most secure place to them.
