Items reported stolen include two women's gold rings, one with Tanzanite stone, one with diamonds, and a crystal pyramid. The total estimated loss is $9,650. The incident occurred between midnight Nov. 1, 2007, and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of Adam Avenue. Fire calls ¢ Brush fire, 10:44 a.m. Thursday, 4445 Adam Ave. ¢ Smoke scare, odor of smoke, 11:43 a.m. Thursday, 1202 E. 23rd St. ¢ Carbon monoxide incident, 12:52 p.m. Thursday, 3833 Greenway Dr. ¢ Assist person, no obvious injury, 7:29 p.m. Thursday, 1401 E. 21st Terrace. ¢ Assist person, no obvious injury, 11:44 p.m. Thursday, 704 Walnut St. ¢ Alarm system activation, no fire, 12:08 a.m. Friday, 1846 Mass. ¢ False alarm, 2:25 a.m. Friday, 1301 West Campus Road. ¢ Smoke detector activation due to malfunction, 4:52 a.m. Friday, 1425 Jayhawk Blvd.
