¢ An 85-year-old Lawrence woman and a 16-year-old Lawrence girl were involved in an injury accident around 4:40 p.m. Friday. The accident took place at Folks Road and Sixth Street when the 16-year-old, Alexandra Smith, attempted to make a left turn from westbound Sixth Street onto southbound Folks Road. As she was entering the intersection, Smith was hit by Dorothy Kerns. Both drivers were treated at the scene for cuts and bruises.
