Pooka Williams tops ratings again in rout over Rutgers
1 – Pooka Williams: Rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, averaging 8.8 yards for the game and season. His third touchdown of the season went for 52 yards.
2 – Bryce Torneden: Has steadily improved since joining the program and has stood out three weeks in a row, this time with an interception return of 39 yards for a touchdown and a fumble recovery go go with three solo tackles and three assists.
3 – Khalil Herbert: Scored on a 59-yard touchdown run on his first carry and 5 yards on his only other one.
4 – Mike Lee: Did a great job of following blockers and cutting across the field on 31-yard touchdown return for a touchdown. Also had three solo tackles.
5 – Joe Dineen: Had six solo tackles, four assists and a fumble recovery.
6 – Deron Thompson: Entered late in the game and looked terrific. Had a 55-yard touchdown and gained 70 yards on three carries.
7 – Kyron Johnson: Speedy edge rusher had a tackle for a loss, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
8 – Shak Taylor: Had two tackles, one behind the line, one forced fumble and covered well.
9 – Miles Kendrick: Received most playing time of the season and rushed for 28 yards and a touchdown, averaging 4.7 yards per rush. Completed 6 of 11 passes for 66 yards and one touchdown.
10 – Corione Harris: Picked up his first career interception, did well in coverage. Also was in on three tackles.
