Daniel Wise tops ratings in ugly loss at Texas Tech

1 – Daniel Wise: Facing steady double-teaming, Wise battled his way to three solo tackles, two assists, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry.

2 – Joe Dineen: Totaled two tackles for loss among his seven solo tackles, one of them a sack. Also nearly had an interception on a pass he got a hand on.

3 – Pooka Williams: Rushed for 70 yards and caught three passes for 26 yards against a defense designed to stop him.

4 – Hasan Defense: Picked up his third interception in two weeks and caught the loose ball that Corione Harris poked free on a Texas Tech fumble and returned it 7 yards to the Kansas 3.

5 – Steven Sims: Showed good leaping ability, agility and hands on a 30-yard touchdown reception.

6 – Azur Kamara: Look for big things from this junior next season. He’s fast, agile and explosive from the defensive end spot. Had four tackles, three of solo variety, and had a sack.

7 – Daylon Charlot: Made a spectacular 44-yard, one-handed reception. Needs to start every game for the rest of his career. Had four receptions for 67 yards.

8 – Bryce Torneden: Had 10 solo tackles.

9 – Khalil Herbert: Continues to perform well when handed the ball. Averaged 4.9 yards on eight carries.

10 – Keith Loneker: Seven solo tackles, two assists and a pass breakup.
