So Much to See #9 (2/24/2008)

Previous:SMTS #8
Next:SMTS #9 1/2

This one is easy. This week I return to the original rules. The first iamge below is a small part of a much larger picture. A larger image will be posted each day. The first person to correctly identify the place or "thing" will be notified by me. The rest will just have to wait until a picture that they can identify is posted, or the answer given. This week's first image:

So now I know what a finial is.

Image #3:

I agree. Watkins Community Museum of History. But look how BLUE the sky is. It's cool.

Or it it isn't, it looks awfully darn familiar

mom_of_three 10 years, 2 months ago

No, I still think it looks like Watkins historical museum.

Isn't spooner the one across from dyche hall? Stone and reddish trim? I don't remember it having finials, but it's been ages since I looked around on campus (or even BEEN on campus for that matter)

Watkins has finials, too.
I have looked at pictures of Spooner, but I don't see any finials. There are other buildings on campus which are similiar.

I don't see how it's cheating if you thought it might be right and then checked.

mom_of_three 10 years, 1 month ago

No it's not cheating. When someone mentioned Spooner, I looked at a picture of it to see.

It's got to be Watkins, but it looks like the view from the corner of the alley and 11th street.
I can't think of another building in that shape, but there could be.
