Well it seems some folks in Lawrence are putting on a big benefit show for Haiti.

Aside from all the proceeds going to Partners in Health, this just looks to be a pretty good deal for $10.

There really is no better way to spend a Sunday evening than with good local music and good local food. If you’re someone who usually goes out for a nice Sunday dinner anyway, why not spend it in a live music atmosphere to help a good cause? I’ve seen opportunities everywhere in Lawrence (and Topeka/Emporia/Manhattan) to help the victims of the earthquake. I’m looking forward to seeing how this one draws the Lawrence community together. What a great idea! Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
