KU Crime Blotter: Week of Oct. 24 through Oct. 30

The following incidents were reported to the University of Kansas Office of Public Safety between Monday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 30. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported.

Oct. 30

• Police found someone in possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and a fake drivers license about 2:40 a.m. Oct. 30 at GSP Hall. The person was arrested.

Oct. 29

• Trespassing occurred just after midnight Oct. 29 at Memorial Stadium. Someone jumped over a locked gate at the stadium, and was also found to be in possession of a fake drivers license. Police arrested the person.

• A domestic battery occurred about 2:15 a.m. Oct. 29 at Oswald Hall. Someone grabbed their girlfriend during an argument, and was arrested.

Oct. 28

• Someone removed a side-mirror from a vehicle, then used it to break a window to a building, Oct. 27 or Oct. 28 in Lot 100, 1400 block of Alumni Place. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

• Someone used an object to break a window at the front entrance Oct. 28 at Bailey Hall. Damage was estimated at $500 to $1,000.

Oct. 27

• Someone stole a tablet Oct. 27 at Summerfield Hall. Loss was valued at $100.

Oct. 25

• Letters were taken from the front of the Sabatini Multicultural Resource Center between Oct. 21 and Oct. 24. Loss was valued at $500.

• Someone stole a bicycle and bike lock from a rack between Oct. 7 and Oct. 21 at Templin Hall. Loss was valued at $295.

• Someone stole a bicycle and bike lock from a rack between Oct. 21 and Oct. 25 at the Kansas Union.

• Someone sent a fraudulent check, which bounced, between Aug. 30 and Oct. 13 at Oswald Hall. Loss was valued at $1,734.

Oct. 24

• During a consented search, police found drugs and drug paraphernalia about 11:15 a.m. Oct. 24 at Ellsworth Hall. The person was arrested.
