There, I said it. Those six little words that everyone rolls their eyes to this time of year. I for one enjoy the hot weather, at least in short bursts. I've always thought it is easier to cool down from being too warm than warm up from getting too cold. But that's just me, so yeah. It is hot enough for me.

Today's song blog will therefore be about the heat! Any song that has lyrics, title or performer name that refers to "hot, heat or high temperature" will do! Please limit your posts to one song each and include the title, artist and link or lyrics.

Plenty of them out there so have fun with it!!

Now I'm really hot. Once again this week I got an automated call from those folks about my credit card and how I can save if I use their service. This time I pressed 1 to get an operator since I was tired of getting them. I calming informed the young man that they are breaking federal laws by calling my number. His response, "Shut up" and he promptly hung up. What agencies do I call or go online with to register a complaint? This is the second time I have been treated rudely and hung up on in the last two weeks. I will no longer feel obligated to be reasonably nice to telemarketers.

  The other one was a collection agency calling for someone I had never heard of and told them not to call again. I guess they didn't believe me.

  Got on that list when it first started. I know they say it never expires but I just registered again to be safe. Mistakes do happen. Filed an online complaint just now with the FTC.
