Downtown Gallery Walk, photo reception scheduled for Friday

The quarterly Lawrence Downtown Gallery Walk is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Here are the featured galleries:• Signs of Life Gallery, 722 Mass., featuring a group show called “Warmth in Winter: Color, Heart, Home.”• 6 Gallery, 716 1/2 Mass., featuring “Bestiary,” with works by Christa Dalien, Andrew Hadle and Glen Mies.• Diane’s Artisan Gallery, 801 1/2 Mass., featuring jewelry of Makenna Bartel.• Phoenix Gallery, 919 Mass., featuring contemporary ceramics of Steve Mahler.• Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., featuring “Robert Zerwekh: Time Isn’t What it Used to Be,” and “John Talleur: Exotic Domain.”In addition, CornerBank, 4621 W. Sixth St., has a show opening this weekend. It's called "Perspectives: Three Photographers' World View," and it features the works of Daryl Craft, D.W. Gates and Robbin Loomas. Lawrence sculptor Jim Brothers also has a large-scale work on display at the bank. The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the public is invited to attend.
