If you missed the signup for the Lawrence school district’s summer music instruction programs, you’re in luck. Deadlines for all three district programs have been extended until May 25.

For beginners, the summer novice program is open to students entering fifth and sixth grades. Students entering seventh grade can enroll in the summer band and/or jazz band program. The summer jazz band program is also open to students entering eighth grade.

The novice program has the option of three sessions that are 1.5 hours each, running between May 31 and June 10. Both the band and jazz band programs have four sessions that are 1.5 hours each, running from June 20-24. All programs are $60 each and take place at Lawrence High School, 1901 Louisiana St.

Enrollment forms list the available time slots for each session and are available on the USD497 website.

wear tie-dye T-shirts for spirit day.

Sides: refried beans, salad bar, perfect pinto beans, tropical fruit salad, fruit juice, fresh fruit, fruit sorbet, oven potatoes, guacamole, milk
