I never thought that I would say this but I miss "Merrill in the Morning". It seems our local FM station has decided to go the route of so many other stations that have a team of talkers on morning radio. "Bob and Sherri" now supply lots of inane banter and very little music. So turn it to another station you say? Oh, I have tried! But so many other stations use this format that it is futile. Chatter, chatter chattter! Johnny Dare is, in my opinion, one of the best but listening to his show has gotten old, too.
Another option, paying for a satellite radio service seems unAmerican. My wife has this service but then again she drives a car made in Korea. 'Nuff said. So lately I have been stocking my car's console with CDs in order to make the morning drive more pleasant.
What is your preference? Do you like this chat radio stuff or would you like to hear more music?

Music, which is why I have an M3P player so I can just download the songs I like and change it when I get bored. One of the best devices ever made. I love this tech world!

Drive British and listen to Jethro Tull!
Does that help?
Alternatively, push a Jeep and listen to CCR. :)

With in excess of 2 million consecutive accident free miles in my career, I give a lot of the credit to not being entertained while driving. Not to say others are wrong for enjoying their tunes, just saying what worked for me. I will admit to using the cell phone occasionally in recent years, hope it doesn't end up being the undoing of 40 accident free years.
