A computerized voice comes on your answering machine: "This is the *static garble" of Lawrence. As of 6:00 pm this evening, you are hereby given notice that you have 48 hours to remove any snow or ice from your sidewalk. Failure to comply within this period will result in a fine of $81 including court costs. You are hereby notified. Thank you for making our home safe.""If you would like to hear this message again, please press 1. If you do not want to hear this message again, please press 9 or simply hang up."Sort of like the school district's voice messaging system.
