Surprise Sunday Snow

Ronda Miller 10 years, 2 months ago

Once again, Linda thank you for taking us on a trip through your eyes. Very nice choice of music as well. You have captured some happy feathered friends!

It wasn't a surprise snow, however. I had been hearing word for over a week that we had a large snowfall headed our way. Some were saying up to twelve inches. The susrprise has been in how quickly it is melting. Good surprise! :)

Thank you so much, Linda! What a delightful way to spend a few moments, watching your work.

The juncos and finches were all puffed up keeping warm around our bird feeder, too. Bluebirds seemed kinda upset. Big flocks of robins of late, and a bald eagle flew over our house yesterday to boot. Birds are livening up the mornings with their songs already--spring is around the corner if given half a chance!

Nice shots! Especially was interested in the bluebirds. Have they been hanging around all winter?

Thank you all for the kind words. Doug, we see an eagle once in a great while. Paul, the bluebirds have been around all winter. We feed them so they like us.

Thank you Multidisciplinary! The bridge is located south of 89th Street on Ratner Road in Shawnee County. It is over the Wakarusa River.
