Interactive Eric Clapton Song Title Game

This weeks interactive song title game will revolve around one of the world's best guitar players and song writers. His sex appeal isn't too shabby either when you consider that George Harrison's wife Pattie left George for Eric!

Eric Clapton has been a solid form in the Rock n Roll business for five decades now and he continues to sound better, if that is possible, every day. He is famous for his song writing abilities as well as his amazing instrumental abilities.

"I am very much an emotional writer. I don't really know how to tell stories or make social comments about the state the world is in or even to be: to have any idea of how to suggest anything that would be better you now. I have to be naked and I have to be vulnerable and I have to let things: and I have to let myself feel anything. I think the thing is that what my records are about, especially this one (Pilgrim), is how much care you can take with making something sound good." (From a 1998 BBC interview)

Enjoy the sounds of Clapton this week and please share links to your favorite performances with the rest of us.

Rules of the game: take the last letter from the song title posted before yours and use it to come up with the first letter of the next song title, do not post twice consecutively (allow someone else to post inbetween), if you run out of one letter (usually an E first) please go on to the next letter - but if someone else finds a song beginning with that letter your song gets bumped until a later time and you get fined five points. Correct song titles earn you five points. Watch the updates of song titles so you know which songs have been used. Play fast, fair, friendly, and have fun!

We start this week's game with: Tears In Heaven - a tribute to Clapton's son Conor.
