Justice Nominee Elena Kagan - Don't Hide It In The Closet
President Barack Hussein Obama II nominated Elena Kagan for Supreme Court Justice.
It was a joyous, happy day for America; even Mother Earth celebrated with a gay double rainbow.
But then, the rumors started.
The media ran with the rumors and complained that there were rumors. They said it should be secret, private; that it was no one's business. So, they printed stories reporting that the rumors should not be reported; and then repeated the rumors.
The secret has been locked away in a closet.
They say she just had no use for old woody.
Does it really matter if she does or does not play with bats and balls?
The picture says it all.
The rumors are true.
Elena Kagan,
Nominee for Supreme Court Justice,
if she is not one now;
she definitely once was ...

This should get interesting . . .
just sayin' . . .

Probably not. Most people are not that interested in softball.

Ms. Kagan's good friend, Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post (link above), wrote, "Sometimes a softball bat is only a softball bat." I am not sure what that means.
I don't know how the conclusion was made that the Wall Street Journal thought she was gay because they published a picture of her playing softball. CBS apparently ran with the idea for a while also, but ended up pulling the story. Since then, the articles all seem to be friends and politicians saying that Kagan is not gay.
I am curious as to why there is such a defense without any real offense (so to speak). It seems as if the defenders believe that being gay would be a bad thing.

Why does it matter? Again, a logical and rational response would be appreciated.

That was my point, Ralph. This should be a non-issue. However, the media has launched a campaign proving that she is straight. Worse yet, the campaign was based upon a conclusion that the media made that playing softball implied that she was gay.
I don't get how anyone can come to the conclusion that Kagan is gay because she played softball at a college picnic. Moreover, I don't get why the media finds it necessary to point it out and then to defend against their own conclusion/accusation.
As the saying goes: go figure.
