Young guerilla artists leave their marks downtown

First and second-graders participating in the Lawrence Arts Center's guerilla art camp displayed some of their temporary art along with a positive message Friday, March 20, 2015, in downtown Lawrence.

This is wonderful. Too bad those blank walls can't always be used to display guerrilla art, of the kind that would come of after a while and then new art would go up. I believe there is some artist in each and every one of them. I am glad that these children got to do that, now lets get more people involved.

Saw the kids out and about, it looked like they were having a great time!
