Debbie Tegethoff, trainer for KSDS, an assistance dog training center in Washington, Kan., shows of Cadillac, a black labrador who's almost ready to head out into the world as a guide dog. The dogs spend about two years with volunteer puppy raisers, and then come back to KSDS for the final portion of their training. Check the LJWorld for a full feature on KSDS this weekend.
