Renowned cellist, Matt Haimovitz performs for passersby in the lobby of Murphy Hall.

I have heard his work, and it's very, very good.
Are there pieces he especially likes to play? Like Bach, for example?
Please also do an interview with him if at all possible, if he has not already left.
I also wonder, why not have it downtown, where people besides students can hear it? The cello is a great instrument - we need more players of it, and all other instruments, for the future.
Maybe the Lawrence Arts Center?

and his recording company:
I have his J.S. Bach suites on disc, which I listen to often.
Thank you, Matt Haimovitz.
