KU goes to CFLs

Jeff Severin, director of Kansas University's Center for Sustainability, and KU freshman Katie Smith talk about the university's effort to switch to compact fluorescent light bulbs. Across campus, more than 3,000 incandescent light bulbs are used in personal desk lamps and floor lamps, Severin said. Changing all of those to CFLs would be the same as taking 39 cars off the road.
