Lawrence Jewish Community Center volunteers help out at the Lawrence Humane Society for Mitzvah Day
A group from the Lawrence Jewish Community Center spent Sunday afternoon giving a helping hand to the Lawrence Humane Society. The volunteering was part of an organized "mitzvah," or good deed. Other groups from the center also helped clean up Clinton Lake on Sunday.
