One of six official Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles was in Lawrence on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. It drew a crowd of young fans and tested older folks to see if they could recall the Oscar Mayer Wiener song.

Whaddya mean, Brownback was driving it! He need something to do in his copious spare time when he is ignoring the needs of Kansas. Except for Planned Parenthood, of course. Gotta shut them down!!

Ok, my only objection to the Wienermobile article is "older folks being asked if they recall the words to the "Wiener Song". What do you mean-"older" folks? Excuse me, but some of us haven't even hit 50 yet, and grew up with the words to that song forever in our brains.

If you have the chance to check this out in person do not pass but GO! I still have my weiner whistle from 1999! Alas, I've lost the polaroid photo of friends + myself + weiner mobile (sigh).
