K-State graduate supports in-state tuition rate for children of illegal immigrants

Andrea Prado-Spalding, a Kansas State University graduate, has benefited from a 2004 law that allows some children of illegal immigrants to pay the lower in-state tuition rate. Secretary of State Kris Kobach is seeking to repeal the law. Prado-Spalding was interviewed Tuesday prior to a scheduled hearing on the repeal bill.
