Audit finds way for barber shop to shave energy costs

April 26, 2011 · Comment on this

As part of the state's Efficiency Kansas program, Sarajane Scott Koch preformed an energy audit on Mike Amyx's downtown barber shop. The program, which is funded through stimulus dollars and run through the Kansas Energy Office, provides a $500 or $600 audit for $100. Homes and businesses that use residential-sized heating and cooling systems qualify.
