Long jumpers enjoy downtown setting; Eric Babb nearly jumps out of pit
Former KU long jumper Eric Babb nearly jumped out of the pit a couple times during the KU Relays downtown long jump competition on Thursday. Babb and Nicholas Gordon tied for the longest jump at 25 feet, 2 1/2 inches, but Gordon won the event because his second-best jump was longer.
