Free State rights homecoming wrong

By Mark Fagan · September 7, 2010 · Comment on this

Students at Free State High School brought to the administrators' attention a rule that didn't allow students with severe disabilities to be eligible for homecoming court. The rule has since been changed to include all students.

I'm very proud of the Free State students for changing the Homecoming nomination policy! Way to go! ALL students, obviously, have the right to participate in any type of activity free of discrimination. Good job- Audrey, Aly, and Bailey.
