King, queen crowned for Free State homecoming
Free State High School kicked off homecoming festivities by selecting a king and queen for the event. It was the first time students with disabilities were allowed on the ballot.

I am in tears...I had a sister born with Downs Syndrome, she graduated from a special school and worked at the Adult Center for Handicapped Adults until she developed Alsheimer and eventually succombed to it at the age of 50. I am so proud of FSHS students for speaking up for people with disabilities and so very thrilled that Owen was chosen for King. Bravo Owen!!
