Fire crews respond to downtown jewelery store fire

Marks Jewelers, 817 Mass., remains open Wednesday after Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical personnel were called to the scene at 5:50 a.m. to respond to a small fire in the store’s second-floor shop.
