A truck pulling a trailer full of 10 horses and three colts crashed near Lawrence on Thursday. That's when a nearby farm owner stepped in to give the horses a place to stay.

Thanks to the Pine family for taking care of those beautiful creatures. I'm sure the owners were very appreciative and relieved to have them taken care of. There are still nice people in the world!!!
