The cold and the clouds took a backseat to masks, brightly colored beads and music during a parade downtown celebrating Fat Tuesday.

Seriously, how much fun!!!! Wish I could have been there. Someone needs to be having some fun this awful winter. What a wonderful way to give the stress of life a break.

I DO have a job and I had a GREAT time marching along and beating my drum. What a wonderful break in a long, ugly winter. =)

Saw the surprisingly well attended parade - given the arctic temperatures. I thought it was great and I really appreciated the commitment of the musicians given the freezing lips and fingers that probably resulted.

Doesn't yankeevet ever have fun? Is it class jealousy? I hope he isn't married. What a boring marriage that would be.
