A KU fraternity and sorority are joining forces to remember the life of Jason Wren. The KU student died in 2009 from alcohol abuse. The initiative will be held April 16, 2010.

SAE was having keg parties on their front lawn less than a month after Jason's death, presumably commemorating the loss of their frat brother with a toast or two. SAE should have been shut down.
For what? A single individuals mistake and stupidity?
While I somewhat understand the rememberance of this guy because of the people he knew, isnt this promoting that you can be so dumb as to drink yourself to death but we'll still remember you. People make mistakes, and this I know, but come on your remembering a guy who played russian roulette with a bottle of jack and lost. So in a sense isnt this technically a suicide which is quite different than a homocide or a car crash that your remembering?
How about the Kansas soldiers who have died for this country; how about remembering them; instead of this alcoholic..............
red- how terribly sad!
